Richard Wright signs new Manchester City deal

Veteran goalkeeper Richard Wrights signs a one-year contract with Manchester City.

Richard Wright has agreed a fresh 12-month contract with Manchester City.

There had been some speculation that the 35-year-old would call time on his career at the end of last season, having failed to make an appearance during the entire campaign.

However, the goalkeeper has decided to stay on at the Etihad Stadium for at least another year.

Wright is currently third-choice keeper with City behind Joe Hart and Costel Pantilimon.
