Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that he is not considering a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
The Spanish international, who has been at the Camp Nou for 19 years, will leave at the end of the season to embark on a new challenge.
Reports have claimed that City are lining up a swoop for Valdes when he becomes a free agent because Pellegrini is not yet convinced by Joe Hart, who was dropped as the club's number one before Christmas.
However, Pellegrini told Spanish publication Marca: "He's not in our thoughts right now."
Valdes, 32, has also been linked with Arsenal and French outfit Monaco.
