Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that goalkeeper Joe Hart will not be allowed to leave the club on loan in January.
It was recently reported that the Blues were considering a temporary swap deal with Stoke City that would see Asmir Begovic move to the Etihad Stadium.
However, Pellegrini has insisted that there is no chance of the England international joining another side.
"There is a lot of news about six or seven goalkeepers that we want to buy but it is not true," BBC Sport quotes the Chilean as saying.
"There is no chance that Joe Hart could go out of this squad in January."
Hart will return to the City starting lineup for the first time in five matches on Wednesday when they face Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League.
