Manuel Pellegrini confirms John Guidetti loan exit

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini confirms that John Guidetti will be leaving the club on loan this month.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that John Guidetti will be leaving the club on loan.

The Swedish striker, 21, has failed to make an impact for the Blues since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in 2008.

Despite interest from Stoke City, Pellegrini is unsure where Guidetti's next destination will be.

"Yes, John is going on loan," the Chilean told reporters. "I don't know if he has already arranged with Stoke, but he is going on loan."

Guidetti spent last season on loan with Dutch side Feyenoord.
