Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has admitted that the Italian side will not put in a bid for Carlos Tevez despite preparing for the impending departure of Samuel Eto’o.
The 27-year-old striker, who was poised to join Corinthians this summer before the deal fell through, has been linked with a move to the Serie A side.
Despite speculation, Moratti has revealed that the Argentinian will not replace the former Barcelona frontman.
"Will Tevez be the replacement? I don't think we will get him,” Moratti told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
"Forlan? Lavezzi? These are the names on which we are working. We are watching, exploring, we'll see.”
Recently City boss Roberto Mancini admitted that they had not received any bids for Tevez.
