Sporting Kansas City defender Erik Palmer-Brown has signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester City, according to a report.
The United States Under-20s international is said to have shaken hands on a four-and-a-half year deal, which will go through in January.
ESPN claims that the 20-year-old will first see out the Major League Soccer season with Sporting, before then linking up with his new teammates in Manchester.
Palmer-Brown is expected to be sent straight out on loan, however, as he builds up his experience in European football.
Kansas City boss Peter Vermes recently revealed that the MLS side were keen to keep the player on board, but a number of teams had been circling following his loan spell with Porto's reserves in 2016.
