Manchester City have reportedly continued their efforts to secure the long-term future of Leroy Sane.
Having found himself in and out of the starting lineup under Pep Guardiola, Sane has been unwilling to commit to a fresh deal at the Etihad Stadium.
At a time when Bayern Munich were pushing to secure his signature, Sane suffered a serious knee injury, further complicating matters going forward.
However, the London Evening Standard claims that City are still trying to tempt Sane into signing terms which last past the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
While City are said to be confident of eventually making the breakthrough with the 23-year-old, the Germany international may not be in any rush to make a decision due to being out of action until the early months of next year.
The Premier League champions are said to value the attacker at £137m.
