Manchester City winger Adam Johnson has revealed that he is uncertain of his future at the club and may need to move to play first-team football.
Johnson's chances were limited last season and the player has been linked with moves away this summer.
"I'm the kind of player that needs to be playing regularly," Johnson told The Guardian. "Any player does really, no matter what age they are.
"I need to play week in, week out. You can't just go into one game after not having played for five and be expected to perform.
"It would be nice to get a run of games with England and hopefully I can push on to the next qualifiers. However I'm not sure if I'll get that chance at City. Time will tell."
Johnson has made 39 league starts for City, while he has come on as a substitute on 34 occasions.
