Javi Garcia completes Zenit St Petersburg move from Manchester City

Javi Garcia completes a move to Zenit St Petersburg from Manchester City after two years with the Premier League side.

Javi Garcia has finalised a move to Zenit St Petersburg following two years at Manchester City.

The 28-year-old, who moved to City from Benfica in 2012, has teamed up with former Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas in Russia.

Garcia has sealed the move after falling down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, with Yaya Toure, Fernandinho and new signing Fernando all vying for the same position.

Reports have claimed that Zenit paid £12m plus £800,000 in add-ons to seal Garcia's signature.
