Manchester City are reportedly preparing to offer Phil Foden a lucrative new contract at the club.
The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for Pep Guardiola's side during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 13 goals and registering nine assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.
Foden still has more than three years left to run on his current deal at the Etihad Stadium.
However, according to The Mirror, the Citizens are ready to open discussions with the England international over a new contract, which could be worth in the region of £100,000 a week.
The report claims that Foden currently collects £30,000 a week, but Man City want the new deal to reflect his importance to the side as a number of top-level European clubs are monitoring developments.
The Englishman scored in both legs of his side's Champions League quarter-final with Borussia Dortmund, while he has managed six goals and five assists in 24 Premier League outings this term.
