Espanyol close in on the signing of Vladimir Weiss from Manchester City.

Manchester City attacker Vladimir Weiss has agreed to travel to Espanyol for discussions over a potential move to La Liga club, according to reports in Spain today.

The 21-year-old has been linked with moves to Dynamo Kiev and Wigan Athletic during the summer but it now appears that Spain is his most likely destination.

The Slovakian international, who has had loan spells with Bolton Wanderers and Glasgow Rangers, has reportedly agreed to undergo a medical on Monday afternoon should talks progress positively.

Espanyol are also said to be targeting Tottenham Hotspur duo Giovanni dos Santos and Roman Pavlychenko.
