Former France boss Raymond Domenech has argued that Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is worth just as much as Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.
Bale became the world's most expensive player at £86m when he made his switch from Tottenham Hotspur to Spain, and Domenech believes that reported Manchester City target Pogba would command much the same fee.
"£80m, £50m, £10m – there's no more difference after that," said Domenech, according to the Daily Mail.
"It means nothing. What you saw with Real Madrid paying €100m for Gareth Bale, you say for a player like Pogba you can give the same, no problem.
"In my opinion he can play in Italy, in Spain, in England. He would be the best in all the teams."
Pogba originally moved to Juventus in 2012 after failing to agree a new contract with Manchester United.
