Napoli would consider an offer for Edinson Cavani from Manchester City if Edin Dzeko makes a move in the opposite direction.

Reports have suggested that Napoli may be willing to let Edinson Cavani join Manchester City if Edin Dzeko is offered as part of the deal.

Cavani is believed to be City's number one summer transfer target but the Premier League club have been previously put off by the striker's £53m release clause.

However, Napoli could be ready to let Cavani leave in a cash-plus-player deal that would include Dzeko.

According to The Mirror, a bid of £35m and Dzeko could be enough to secure the services of Uruguay international.

Dzeko has scored 12 league goals this season but has struggled to cement a place in the team at the Etihad Stadium.
