AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi rules out January moves for the strike duo of Mario Balotelli and Didier Drogba.

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has said that neither Mario Balotelli or Didier Drogba will join the Rossoneri in January.

Manchester City's Balotelli has been linked with a return to the Italian city, where he once played for Milan's local rivals Inter. However, Berlusconi dismissed the rumours.

"I can assure you that Balotelli will not arrive," Berlusconi told Sky Sport Italia.

Berlusconi also admitted that he was a fan of Drogba but said that the 34-year-old would be too expensive to bring in.

"Drogba? He is certainly a player we really like, but I think at that cost only the Arabian and Russian clubs can afford him."

Yesterday's 4-2 defeat in Rome left AC 17 points adrift of Serie A leaders Juventus.
