Barcelona have reportedly offered Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero a contract.
The 32-year-old's existing deal with the Citizens is due to expire at the end of June, and it appears increasingly likely that the Argentina international will be leaving the Etihad Stadium on a free transfer.
Aguero is Man City's all-time leading goalscorer with 256, but he has netted just twice in 11 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side this term, having struggled with a number of fitness problems.
The South American has only featured on six occasions in the 2020-21 Premier League and has only played once in England's top flight since the start of January.
A number of clubs have been linked with the former Atletico Madrid youngster, but according to TyCSports, Barca have now offered the experienced striker a contract.
The report claims that the Catalan club's new president Joan Laporta is determined to bring Aguero, who is a close friend of Lionel Messi, to Camp Nou for the 2021-22 campaign.
Man City boss Guardiola recently said that a decision on a potential new contract for the forward would not be made until the end of the season.
