Manuel Pellegrini: 'Stevan Jovetic to return next week'

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini confirms that Stevan Jovetic will be back in training next week.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Stevan Jovetic will return to training next week.

The 24-year-old striker, who has been linked with a move back to Fiorentina, has not featured for the Blues since October due to persistent injury troubles.

When asked if Jovetic would be available for Wednesday's FA Cup third-round replay against Blackburn Rovers, Pellegrini told reporters: "Not this week. But next week him and Jack Rodwell will be fit."

Jovetic has scored two goals in five games for City so far this season.
