Samir Nasri has admitted that he wants to finish his career at Manchester City, despite being dropped from their Champions League squad for the knockout stages.
The 28-year-old has made just eight appearances this season because of a thigh injury, which has kept him out of action since mid-October.
The Frenchman not only wants to be part of Pep Guardiola's reign when the Spaniard takes over in the summer, he wants to be involved in the future growth of the North-West outfit.
"This club is doing everything to be the most dominant in the world," Nasri told the club's official website. "We have an ambitious owner who tries to improve the team and facilities every single year.
"There are so many exciting things happening here. You never know what will happen in football, but it would be a pleasure to finish my career at City."
Nasri joined City from Arsenal in the summer of 2011 for a reported £25m fee.
