Manchester City and England defender Kyle Walker will not face a criminal charge by police following allegations of flashing at a bar in Wilmslow.

Cheshire Police were "made aware of a video circulating on social media" in which the 32-year-old was alleged to have indecently exposed himself while drinking with friends at a bar on March 5, 24 hours after the Citizens beat Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.

On Thursday, Walker voluntarily attended a police station for questioning and Cheshire Police have since confirmed that the defender will not face a criminal charge after he was given an out of court disposal.

In a statement on Friday, a police spokesperson said: "On Wednesday 8 March, Cheshire Constabulary was made aware of a video circulating on social media in relation to an alleged incident at a bar in the Wilmslow area.

"Officers have now concluded their enquiries which included speaking to those directly involved.

"A 32-year-old man from Prestbury voluntarily attended a police station for questioning on 16 March.

"He has been dealt with by an out of court disposal and the matter is now closed."

The news comes just over 24 hours after Man City's No.2 was called up to Gareth Southgate's England squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine later this month.

Walker, who has been left out of Pep Guardiola's starting lineup in the last two games, will be hoping to force his way back into the first XI when the Citizens play host to Burnley in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday.
