Vincent Kompany: 'Manchester City will put things right'

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is confident that his team will make a swift recovery following their 2-1 defeat to West Ham in the Premier League.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has vowed to "set things straight" following his team's defeat to West Ham United in the Premier League.

The Blues fell to a 2-1 loss at Upton Park on Saturday as their title defence suffered a setback against the in-form Hammers.

Despite giving Chelsea the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to six points when they face Manchester United on Sunday, Kompany is confident that City will recover.

City are back in action on Wednesday when they host Newcastle United in the fourth round of the League Cup.
