Joe Hart: 'We can't feel sorry for ourselves'

Joe Hart admits that Manchester City have no reason to feel sorry for themselves following some poor results in recent weeks.

Joe Hart has claimed that Manchester City must not feel sorry for themselves following a run of results which effectively ended their hopes of defending the Premier League title.

Despite accepting that they can have no arguments with the defeats to Liverpool, Burnley and Crystal Palace in recent weeks, Hart believes that City's form has not been as poor as the criticism would suggest.

"You can't say you don't deserve to lose games because Burnley beat us fair and square, Liverpool did and so did Crystal Palace," the England goalkeeper told reporters.

"So we're certainly not feeling sorry for ourselves and we're ready to go again on Sunday.

"There's not been many games where we've been battered or played really badly but things haven't quite been going our way."

City make the short trip to Old Trafford to meet Manchester United on Sunday.
