Joe Hart: 'I've settled in well at Torino'

Goalkeeper Joe Hart says that he is really excited to play a season in Serie A after receiving a warm reception from Torino since his loan move from Manchester City.

Goalkeeper Joe Hart has said that he has "settled in well" at Torino after making the loan switch from Manchester City.

After falling down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, Hart was allowed to join the Serie A club for the remainder of the season, although his first appearance for the team was marred by a mistake in the 2-1 defeat to Atalanta BC.

However, the England stopper has revealed that he is enjoying life in Italy and that he hopes to take as much as he can from the experience of competing in a different league.

The 29-year-old told reporters: "I'm settling in well, which is mainly to do with the reception I have received since I turned up in this beautiful city.

"From the president to all of the staff at the training ground, the people who did my medical and the players most importantly because I don't speak very good Italian.

"I'm doing my best to learn and to buy into the culture because it really is a beautiful part of the world and I am really excited to be here and play my football in a different league.

"It is something which really excites me and I am going to work hard every day to improve myself as a person and as a player."

Hart is expected to make his home debut when Torino host Empoli on Sunday afternoon.
