Manchester City trio David Silva, Alvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas are all included in the 21-man squad for an international in Guayaquil on Wednesday.

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla also keeps his place for La Roja, but Gunners teammate Nacho Monreal is forced out as he continues to recover from a back injury.

Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta completes the Premier League contingent, but his Blues colleagues Juan Mata and Fernando Torres have been omitted.

Tottenham Hotspur's club-record signing Roberto Soldado also misses out, with Fernando Llorente earning a recall.
