Mario Balotelli ready to leave England?

Mario Balotelli's agent claims that his client may be tempted to leave Manchester City as a result of his likely four-match suspension.

The agent of Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has hinted that his client may be ready to leave the Premier League.

The Italian international has been at the centre of a number of controversies since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in 2010, the latest of which is likely to see him handed a four-match ban for an apparent stamp on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker.

Agent Mino Raiola believes that the 21-year-old is being unfairly treated by referees in England and as a result would be willing to find him another club.

"I want to be balanced but I'm worried because when English players are involved in more serious things, nothing happens, whereas when foreigners are involved, such as Balotelli or Kompany, they were treated harder," Raiola told reporters. "If I find that there is something strange against Balotelli, my duty is to protect and then take him away.

"In this case I would speak with City, I'd ask them Balotelli's price and would look for the best team for him, as there are only six or seven teams he can play for.

"I talked to Mario who said he is happy to stay in England, but he does not understand certain things and they sadden him."

Balotelli was red-carded earlier in the season during a 1-1 draw at Liverpool.
