Sergio Aguero out of Barnsley FA Cup clash

Roberto Mancini reveals that Sergio Aguero will not be fit to return in Manchester City's FA Cup last-eight meeting with Barnsley on Saturday.

Sergio Aguero will be unavailable for Manchester City's FA Cup quarter-final with Barnsley on Saturday due to a knee problem, Roberto Mancini has revealed.

The Argentine striker missed Monday's Premier League win over Aston Villa with the injury that he picked up in training.

Speaking after the victory, which reduced the gap on league leaders Manchester United to 12 points, Mancini told Sky Sports News that Aguero will not be fit to face the Championship side, but could return for the trip to Everton on March 16.

Aguero has scored 13 goals in 31 appearances for City this season.
