Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has put a positive spin on his team's elimination to Liverpool in the quarter-finals of this season's Champions League.
City lost to Liverpool both home and away as they bowed out of the European competition at the last-eight stage.
The Citizens will still end the season with two trophies, however, having followed their EFL Cup success with the 2017-18 Premier League title.
Ederson has insisted that his side will "learn" from their Champions League exit as they look to challenge for the trophy next term.
"I believe going out of the Champions League can be a good lesson for the next season, and I am sure we will learn from that," Ederson told City's official website.
Champions City currently sit 16 points clear of second-placed Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table.
