Manchester City's Sergio Aguero wants trophies this season

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero insists that the club should be targeting every trophy available to them.

Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has insisted that the club should be targeting trophies this season.

After finishing runners-up in both the Premier League and the FA Cup last season, the Argentine wants an improvement this campaign.

"We must win a trophy, and there's none more important than the Premier League," Aguero told The Mirror. "We definitely have a team that can win the title, and why not the Champions League too?

"Our objective is to keep fighting and reach the top and if that means taking on Manchester United, all the better. We go into the season wanting to win everything."

City travel to Cardiff City in their second Premier League game later today.
