Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly set to offer midfielder Ruben Neves a new contract at Molineux, although the player is prepared to leave the club this summer.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly prepared to offer midfielder Ruben Neves a new contract in an attempt to commit his long-term future to the West Midlands club.

The 26-year-old has been a regular fixture for Wolves since making the switch from Portuguese giants Porto in the summer of 2017, helping the club win promotion to the Premier League from the Championship during his first season.

The Portugal international has played 244 times for the Black Country side in a Molineux career spanning over five years, with the midfielder missing just one of Wolves' 27 league matches this season.

According to 90min, Wolves are set to offer Neves a new contract as they try to commit his future to the club, with the player having just over a year left on his current deal.

The report also claims that Neves's agent Jorge Mendes has notified potential suitors that his client is prepared to leave Molineux in the summer, and that Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are amongst the Premier League sides who have asked to be kept informed on the situation.

Neves and his Wolves teammates host Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, with both sides embroiled in a hotly-contested battle to avoid relegation to the Championship.
