Wolfsburg sporting director Olaf Rebbe has hinted that the club are exploring the option of a permanent deal for Liverpool striker Divock Origi once his loan terms expire.
The 22-year-old was offloaded to the Wolves during the summer after slipping further down the Anfield pecking order following the arrivals of Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke.
Belgium international Origi has found his feet in the German top flight by scoring three goals in his last six outings and recently admitted that he is 'enjoying' himself at the Volkswagen Arena.
Rebbe believes that a long-term agreement could now be in the offing, telling Bild: "We will chat about what might be next some time before the summer. At 22, Divock's an extraordinary forward. He's exhibiting his talent here right now."
Origi scored late on against Schalke 04 last weekend after being introduced from the bench, securing a sixth successive league draw for his side.
