Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling will tell Reds manager Brendan Rodgers that he wants to leave Anfield this summer, according to reports.
The England forward has already turned down a new £100,000-a-week contract at the club and denied being a "money-grabber" in an interview last month.
According to BBC Sport, Sterling is due to meet Rodgers and Reds chief executive Ian Ayre on Friday, when he is set to tell them that he wants to be sold.
It has also been reported by Sky Sports News that Sterling feels bullied by Liverpool into signing a new contract and is upset by their failure to protect him from the recent negative headlines.
The 21-year-old's contract runs out in 2017.
