Moussa Sow says that he wants to play in England and would be "happy" to join Liverpool.

Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow has said that he is attracted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old is believed to be of interest to Liverpool, who reportedly made an approach during the January transfer window.

Brendan Rodgers is expected to make another move in the summer as he seeks to add firepower up front.

The Senegal international made no secret of his desire to test himself in England and said that he would be "happy" to ply his trade at Anfield.

"Everyone knows I want to play in the Premier League one day," Sow told French newspaper Liberation.

"If Liverpool made a formal offer and if my club accepted I would be happy to play in England."

Sow, who moved to Turkey in an £8.5m deal from Lille in 2012, has scored 17 goals in all competitions this season.
