Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel's proposed move to Fenerbahce is "almost done", according to the Turkish club's president Aziz Yildirim.
Skrtel is one of Liverpool's longest-serving players having joined the club from Zenit St Petersburg in 2008, but he fell out of favour with Jurgen Klopp during the 2015-16 campaign.
He has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, and a £5.5m deal to take him to Fenerbahce now appears to be close to completion.
"[Gregory] Van der Wiel and Skrtel transfers are almost done," Yildirim told Turkish TV, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Skrtel made 319 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 18 goals.
