Brendan Rodgers: 'No offers for Daniel Agger'

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers dismisses reports that defender Daniel Agger could be heading for the exits at Anfield.

Brendan Rodgers has insisted that Liverpool have not received any offers for Daniel Agger this summer.

The defender, who missed the team's 4-0 win over Borussia Dortmund earlier today with a knee injury, has reportedly been attracting interest from Napoli.

However, the manager told the Liverpool Echo: "I saw some stories on Agger, but we haven't had any enquiries. Daniel is still getting some work done on his knee. He's been unfortunate since the tour of America, but we haven't had anything, no offers."

The Reds will face Southampton in their opening match of the Premier League season next weekend.
