Report: Liverpool, Manchester City eye Ben Gibson

Liverpool and Manchester City are reportedly plotting summer moves for Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson.

Middlesbrough youngster Ben Gibson is reportedly a summer transfer target of both Liverpool and Manchester City.

The England Under-21 international has risen through the ranks at the Riverside Stadium, where he has become a regular in Aitor Karanka's starting lineup.

The 19-year-old has impressed in the Championship this term, with his performances having the caught the eye of the Premier League duo, according to The Mirror.

It is believed that the versatile defender, who is the nephew of Boro chairman Steve Gibson, would command a fee in the region of £10m.
