Report: Liverpool lead chase to sign Belgium's Divock Origi

Liverpool are reportedly leading the race to sign Belgium and Lille youngster Divock Origi.

Liverpool are reportedly close to signing Belgium and Lille youngster Divock Origi.

The 19-year-old became his nation's youngest goalscorer at the World Cup as he found the winning goal against Russia in a 1-0 victory on Sunday.

According to The Express, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been linked with the teen's services, but Liverpool are favourites to sign him for what could be a fee of around £6m.

Reports have claimed that Lille will request that Liverpool send Origi back to the French club for a season-long loan.
