Inter Milan have joined Barcelona in the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, according to a report.
Barca boss Ronald Koeman recently confirmed his interest in the Dutchman, who he coached at international level, ahead of the January transfer window.
Italian outlet Calciomercato claims that Inter are preparing a bid of their own for the New Year, with chief executive Giuseppe Marotta having already made inquiries.
Wijnaldum is due to be out of contract at the end of the campaign and has refused to answer questions with regards to a new deal.
The same report indicates that Inter are looking to offload one of Christian Eriksen, Radja Nainggolan or Matias Vecino to strengthen their position when it comes to making a bid for Wijnaldum.
