Kylian Mbappe will reportedly ask Paris Saint-Germain to negotiate a transfer for him to join Real Madrid this summer.
The French forward is believed to be 'concerned' by the arrival of Lionel Messi at the Parc de Princes and he is now considering a departure this summer.
According to Spanish media channel Mega, Mbappe is to ask for a meeting with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and will request that the club negotiate his transfer to Real Madrid, which is understood to be the 22-year-old's preferred destination.
Mbappe has now entered the final 12 months of his contract and as the Ligue 1 outfit are far from agreeing new terms to extend his deal, they may be forced to sell the forward in this transfer window, as they are at risk of losing him for free next summer.
Liverpool are another club monitoring Mbappe's situation and are reportedly preparing an offer to sign the Frenchman in the summer of 2022.
Mbappe scored on the opening weekend of the new Ligue 1 campaign in PSG's 4-2 victory over Strasbourg, taking his tally to 133 goals in 173 games for the Parisian club.
