Jordon Ibe joins Derby County on loan from Liverpool

Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe joins Derby County on a season-long loan.

Liverpool have confirmed that winger Jordon Ibe has left Anfield to join Derby County on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old featured in the Reds' pre-season tour of the United States, but was unlikely to play in the first team under manager Brendan Rodgers this season.

As a result, Ibe has moved to Pride Park to play under Steve McClaren for the 2014-15 campaign in the Championship.

The teenager, who has made three first-team appearances for Liverpool since his debut in May last year, will follow in the footsteps of teammate Andre Wisdom, who spent last season on loan with the Rams.
