Liverpool have reportedly decided to offload winger Stewart Downing in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old, who moved to Anfield from Aston Villa for £20m under former manager Kenny Dalglish, has failed to make his mark in current boss Brendan Rodgers's team.
It is thought that the Merseyside outfit will listen to offers for the England international with the aim of bringing in extra cash for a couple of new additions, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Downing has not started one Premier League match for the Reds this season.
