Liverpool have reportedly retained an interest in PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen.
The 22-year-old is currently with the Netherlands squad for their Euro 2020 campaign, and his stellar club form throughout the 2020-21 season has earned him links with some of Europe's biggest names.
Malen struck 27 goals and assisted 10 more in 45 appearances across all competitions for PSV last term, and Borussia Dortmund have been tipped to move for the Dutchman should Jadon Sancho's proposed move to Manchester United go through.
However, Calciomercato claims that Liverpool are still in the hunt for Malen's signature, with the Reds having been strongly linked with a swoop earlier this year.
The outlet adds that Serie A giants AC Milan are also keeping a close eye on Malen, who spent two years in Arsenal's youth academy between 2015 and 2017 before returning to his homeland with PSV.
Malen has since scored 55 goals and set up 24 more in 116 games for PSV, and his contract with the Dutch giants runs for another three years.
The former Arsenal and Ajax youth product was brought on as a substitute for the final few seconds of the Netherlands' 3-2 win over Ukraine during their opening Euro 2020 game on Sunday.
