Liverpool have reportedly reopened discussions with Schalke 04 regarding a deal for defender Ozan Kabak.
While the Merseyside giants have been linked with the Turkish centre-back in the past, the move for Preston North End's Ben Davies appeared to end any interest in the 20-year-old.
However, Sky Sports News claims that Liverpool are discussing the possibility of signing the prospect on Monday.
The report claims that Schalke will need to bring in a replacement before giving the green light to any deal.
Should a transfer be finalised, it is claimed that Liverpool will pay a £2.5m loan fee while possessing the option to sign Kabak on a permanent deal in the summer.
Kabak has made 14 starts in the Bundesliga this season, his latest outing coming in the 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen on Saturday.
