Liverpool have reportedly decided to up their interest in Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
The Merseyside giants are well stocked for options in the middle of the pitch, but Jurgen Klopp's side have sometimes lacked creativity since the departure of Philippe Coutinho.
According to Le10Sport, the Premier League outfit are prepared to make "a big push" in order to strengthen that area before the start of next season.
Aouar is attracting admirers from all over Europe, but Lyon are likely to make a considerable effort to convince the 20-year-old to remain at his current club.
The playmaker still has just over four years remaining on his contract at the Ligue 1 outfit.
