Liverpool are reportedly bracing themselves for a big-money bid from the Saudi Pro League for star attacker Mohamed Salah.
The 32-year-old continues to be linked with a lucrative move to the Middle East having now entered the final year of his contract at Anfield.
Salah has earned legendary status during his seven-year stay on the red side of Merseyside, contributing with 211 goals and 89 assists in 349 appearances as well as winning a total of seven trophies.
The Egyptian endured some testing times last season, but he still managed to scored 25 goals and register 14 assists in 44 games as the Reds won the EFL Cup and settled for a third-placed finish in the Premier League.
Salah has featured regularly in pre-season under new head coach Arne Slot and is set to remain an important figure in the Dutchman's first-team plans for the 2024-25 season.

Could Liverpool accept £100m Salah offer?
However, according to Football Insider, Liverpool are braced for a late-window bid for Salah from a club in Saudi Arabia, with a summer transfer 'still a real possibility'.
The report adds that Saudi Pro League clubs - presumably Al Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal who are all owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund - are still deciding their budgets before an expected deluge of activity late in the transfer window.
It has been claimed that Liverpool will find it difficult to refuse an offer of at least £100m for Salah, considering his age and the fact that he has less than 12 months remaining on his contract.
This time last year, Liverpool allegedly rejected a bid of up to £150m for Salah from Al Ittihad towards the end of the transfer window, as they refused to part ways with such an invaluable asset with little time left to recruit a replacement.
With over three weeks of the current transfer window still remaining, Liverpool have a greater amount of time left to potentially bring in a replacement should an offer for Salah arrive in the coming days.

Who could replace Salah if Liverpool cash in on attacker?
Should Salah depart Liverpool this summer, one name who has been regularly linked with a possible switch to Anfield in recent weeks is Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon, who is believed to be valued at around £75m.
The likes of PSV Eindhoven's Johan Bakayoko, Wolverhampton Wanderers' Pedro Neto and Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman could also emerged as potential targets for the Reds should Salah seek pastures new.
Liverpool are also understood to hold an interest in Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze, although he would not be viewed as a like-for-like replacement for Salah.
