Leeds United have reportedly started to keep tabs on Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma.
The 24-year-old has only been with the La Liga outfit for a few months, after joining from Championship side Bournemouth this summer for a fee worth around £21m.
According to Football Insider, Leeds sent scouts to watch Danjuma during Villarreal's Champions League game against Manchester United last week, and the Dutchman produced a man-of-the-match display at Old Trafford despite ending up on the losing side.
The report adds that Danjuma was interested in a move to Elland Road this summer and claimed that joining Marcelo Bielsa's side would be a "great step" in his career.
Danjuma, who is tied down to the Yellow Submarine until June 2026, has also attracted interest from Liverpool, as Jurgen Klopp sees the winger as a potential long-term replacement for Sadio Mane.
The former Club Brugge man scored 15 league goals for Bournemouth last season and has since found the net five times in eight appearances across all competitions for Villarreal so far this campaign.
