Juventus have reportedly withdrawn their interest in signing Atalanta BC midfielder Franck Kessie, opening the door for a potential Premier League switch in January.
The 19-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool, while Tottenham Hotspur are also said to have made contact with the youngster in the past.
However, those two English sides - as well as fellow reported interested parties Barcelona and AC Milan - will have one less heavyweight to compete against, with Calcio Mercato claiming that Juventus are now out of the race to sign him.
Kessie has scored six goals and registered two assists during his maiden Serie A campaign, leading to talk that a bidding war could be sparked for the £25m-rated star.
It is also claimed that Juve will instead focus their attention on wrapping up a deal for Axel Witsel, who was a big-money target for Chelsea earlier this year.
