Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is baffled by suggestions that Fabinho could leave the club in January, according to a report.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly baffled by suggestions that Fabinho could leave the club in January.

Fabinho only joined Liverpool from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco during the summer transfer window, with the midfielder costing the Reds in the region of £40m.

The 25-year-old has only made four Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season, however, and it has been reported that AC Milan are considering a January approach for the Brazilian.

Meanwhile, it has also been claimed that Liverpool would be prepared to sell Fabinho if it meant that they would be able to land Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund.

However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Klopp has no intention of allowing Fabinho to leave and is confused by the latest reports.

Fabinho has featured in each of Liverpool's last four Premier League matches.
