Iago Aspas to leave Liverpool on loan?

A report suggests that Valencia and Real Betis want to sign Liverpool player Iago Aspas.

Iago Aspas could leave Liverpool on loan during the transfer window, with Valencia and Real Betis keen on the former Celta Vigo player.

Aspas joined Brendan Rodgers's side last summer for a fee of around £7m, but has scored just once, the first goal in a 2-0 FA Cup win against Oldham Athletic.

The Mirror reports that Rodgers now has to consider whether or not Aspas would benefit from time away from Anfield. Another option is to keep him at the club as a squad player.

Aspas struck 12 times in La Liga last year.
