Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus is reportedly keen on joining Liverpool during this summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old has a contract with his German club until June 2024 but recently refused to rule out a move away this summer amid the speculation surrounding his future.
A report report claimed that Liverpool viewed the midfielder as a potential replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who could leave Anfield on a free transfer at the end of June.
According to Bild, Jurgen Klopp's side have been watching Neuhaus for some time, and the Germany international is interested in joining the Premier League holders in the upcoming transfer window.
The former 1860 Munich youngster has scored six times and registered six assists in 31 appearances for Monchengladbach during the 2020-21 campaign.
Despite being contracted to Marco Rose's side until the summer of 2024, there is allegedly a €40m (£34.7m) release clause in his deal.
