Liverpool reportedly consider offering Daniel Sturridge - out of contract this summer - a new deal.

Liverpool are reportedly considering offering Daniel Sturridge a new contract.

Sturridge will see his current deal with the Premier League leaders expire at the end of this season.

As it stands, the 29-year-old is free to negotiate with foreign clubs and according to the Daily Mail, Sevilla, Valencia, Monaco, AC Milan and Inter Milan are also closely monitoring developments.

The same report, however, has claimed that Liverpool are considering offering the Englishman a new deal in a bid to prevent him from signing a pre-contract with another club this month.

The centre-forward is no longer first choice at Anfield but has scored four times in 16 appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside giants during the 2018-19 campaign.

Sturridge initially joined Liverpool from Chelsea in 2013 and his best scoring season for the Reds came during the 2013-14 campaign, when he managed 24 goals in all competitions.
