Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is reportedly expected to leave the club in January after realising that his long-term future is not at Anfield.
The Reds were willing to offload the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window after accepting a reported £14m bid from Sunderland.
However, a transfer failed to materialise from the Black Cats, who had Borini on loan last season, allegedly due to the striker's wage demands.
According to The Express, Inter Milan are considering a swoop for Borini in the January transfer window, while Sunderland are still believed to be interested in a loan move for the player.
Borini has scored just twice in 23 appearances for Liverpool.
