Basel are reportedly weighing up a January move for Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
The 28-year-old was strongly linked with a move away from Anfield over the summer, but the transfer window closed with the German remaining in Merseyside.
Karius has not been used by the Reds this term, and with his contract due to expire next June, it seems unlikely that the stopper will make another appearance for Jurgen Klopp's side.
According to transfermarkt, Liverpool are keen to shift the German at the start of 2022, and Basel are considering reigniting their interest.
The report claims that the Swiss outfit were keen on signing Karius over the summer but could not agree personal terms with the stopper, so the proposed transfer fell through.
The former Manchester City youngster, who made the last of his 49 appearances for Liverpool in 2018, has had recent loan spells with Besiktas and Union Berlin.
